Yojayra T. Nuñez was born on September 4 in the city of Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Yojayra is the youngest of 8 siblings in a humble household with her 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
Yojayra studied Interior Design at UTESA, and on January 25, 1995, at the age of 21, emigrated to the United States with a suitcase loaded with dreams.
With a desire to succeed and fulfill her dreams, Yojayra worked and took English and modeling classes. Her first job was a supermarket cashier.
At the age of 25, Yojayra married a young Dominican from Santiago Rodriguez Province, a businessman from the city of New York, José Nuñez. Together, they procreated 2 boys who today are, in Yojayra's words, “(her) greatest pride, (her) angels.” They are currently students from Villanova University, PA.

In 2014, Yojayra graduated with a Cosmetology degree from Paul Mitchell's School and in the same year she obtained her salon. Yojayra is a cosmetologist with a specialty in color, cut and hair extensions, giving a unique and different service in the area.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, together with some friends, Yojayra created a non-profit foundation called “Acción Agata,” becoming its president.
At the same time, her new venture, Revive Jewelry, arises: handmade earrings, bracelets and necklaces, to which she is dedicating a lot of love and effort to make Revive a renowned brand.
Yojayra’s goal is to reach out to more people who appreciate the work of costume jewelry and to be able to help women and young people who like, and maybe even depend, on artisan work.
"I am passionate about hosting events and creating unforgettable moments, I admire the empowerment of women today and I hope to continue with my dreams of expanding Revive as a brand in different fashion designs and with it help more women," Yojayra says.

Yojayra T Nuñez nació un 4 de septiembre en la Ciudad de Santiago de Los Caballeros, República Dominicana.
Es la menor de 8 hermanos, en un humilde hogar compuesto por 6 mujeres y 3 hombres.
Estudió Diseños de Interiores en UTESA y un 25 de Enero de 1995, con 21 años, emigra a los Estados Unidos con una maleta cargada de sueños.
Con deseo de superación y de cumplir sus sueños trabajaba y tomaba clases de inglés y modelaje. Su primer trabajo fue cajera de un supermercado.
A los 25 años se casa con un joven Dominicano de Santiago Rodriguez, empresario de la ciudad de NY, José Nuñez, procreando 2 varones que hoy son, en palabras de Yojayra, “su mayor orgullo, sus ángeles (como les llama)” ambos estudiantes de Villanova University, PA.
En el 2014, Yojayra se graduó de Cosmetología en la escuela de Paul Mitchell y en el mismo año obtuvo su salón, en el cual cumplen ya 7 años de establecidos, es una cosmetologa con especialidad en color, corte y extensiones de pelo, dando un servicio único y diferente en el área.
Durante la pandemia creó junto con unas amigas una fundación sin fines de lucro que lleva por nombre “Acción Agata” de la cual es su presidenta.
Durante el mismo tiempo surge su nuevo emprendimiento Revive Jewelry: aretes, pulseras y collares hechos a mano, al cual le está dedicando mucho cariño y esfuerzo para hacer de REVIVE una marca de renombre.
El objetivo de Yojayra es llegar a la mano de más personas que aprecian el trabajo de la bisutería y poder con el mismo ayudar a mujeres y jóvenes que les gusta lo artesanal, y que muchas veces es su sustento.
